My Bio
I am a self-taught aspiring local artist in Florida. I have been sketching as long as I can remember, I would doodle Spider-Man in class instead of doing schoolwork. I have recently gravitated towards using ball point pen as my medium of choice.

I love the freedom of working from home, it allows me the opportunity to spend more time with my friends and loved ones and listen to my music as loud as I please. I like using off-white paper as it gives an undescribable air to the piece. If I say that a piece turned out really well, it usually means I don't absolutely hate it. I am not exactly overly critical, but I am a realist and know that without hard work I will go nowhere so I am always striving to be a better artist and toying around with other mediums such as digital art and most recently paint.

People often ask me if I use color. The truth is, I feel that I can breathe more life into each piece with black and white, but I do look forward to toying with more color in the near future. I also get "Do you do tattoos?!" The answer to that is a universal "No". Although I am open-minded, I do not wish to add skin to my list of canvases. There are many reasons, I am sometimes asked if I am scared to mess up, to which I reply "Um... I draw portraits in ball point pen..."

UPDATE: At the end of 2012 I was given some Prismacolor markers, and soon after bought myself some watercolor paint, which led me to oil paint and later acrylic. I've been painting for about two months now, and LOVE IT! It's funny how our paths change, and when we look back at the person we used to be, who wouldn't believe in a million years where we've ended up. Thanks for keeping up with me guys, I appreciate it.

I encourage you to keep up with me on these other platforms as well:

CALL TO ARTISTS

0 min read
I am seeking roughly 20 fellow artists to put together a project. Here's the skinny:    I want to open a gallery in Jacksonville, Florida. I plan on using crowd funding to raise the money needed to get it off the ground. The business model I plan on going by requires quite a bit of start up, and no crowd funding campaign is successful unless they have good perks, right? So I plan on making the most awesome perks the planet has ever seen. I want to create a series of collectible trading cards out of my art and some art from fellow artists. Think packs of baseball cards, but with art on them. I want to get 20 or so artists in on the series. H
